Calathea maj. Whitestar Care
Calathea ‘White Star’ is a stunning variety that commands attention with its elegant white-striped leaves and graceful presence. If you love houseplants that feel almost too beautiful to be real, this one belongs in your home. The bold contrast of deep green and crisp white, with subtle hints of pink, sets it apart from other Calatheas. Unlike some varieties that have darker, more dramatic foliage, ‘White Star’ has a softer, luminous quality that brightens any space.

Light
- Bright, indirect light is ideal. Place it near an east- or north-facing window.
- Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and fade the delicate pink and white stripes.

Low light can be tolerated, but the plant may lose its vibrant variegation over time.
Wateirng
- Check the soil: Stick your finger about an inch or two into the soil before watering. If it feels dry, it is time to water. Do not let the soil dry out completely.
- Use filtered, distilled, or rainwater. Calatheas are very sensitive to minerals like fluoride and chlorine in regular tap water, which causes brown, crispy leaf edges.
- Frequency: Expect to water about every 5 to 7 days during warmer months, and slightly less often during the winte.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
